Today the iPhone is 10 years

Today it is 10 years since the iPhone was released at Macworld in San Francisco.

– Iphone is a revolutionary and magical product that is literally five years ahead of his time, said Steve Jobs.

In 2007, Nokia was the world’s largest mobile phone manufacturer, and Microsoft launched Windows Vista. Blackberry was the largest company in smartphone market.

10 years later, Apple has sold more than 1 billion iPhones.

First five years later the dependence on iTunes was gone. AppStore was first from summer 2008 and had at the time a spartan selection compared to what we are used to today. Today AppStore more than 2 million apps  in the shop, and many enterprises are established and lives of developing apps. The phone showcased was a phone without buttons and that had to be connected a PC or MAC for setting setup the phone and the applications. The phone was synchronized via iTunes.

Ten years ago, we sat down in front of your PC when we were surfing the internet. iPhone changed this. Today we have the Internet with us in the pocket and with it we cary a telephone, cinema, music system, newspaper, heart rate monitor, calendar, radio, banking as well as thousands of other functions all inn one device.
