Edvard Munch referred to Kragerø as the “Pearl among the coastal towns”. “This city should be painted!” Christian Krohg said when visiting Kragerø. Here are my pictures from the city and the archipelago.

Trip to Pulpit Rock

On four days during the national scout camp close to 8,000 scouts went on tour to the Pulpit Rock. From the plateau there is a good view of the Lysefjord and the surrounding hills.

Tyrannosaurus Rex is one of the most famous dinosaurs that have lived. In connection with presently being was a casting screened out at University Square.

LA4O Field Day 2012

This year Oslo Group of NRRL cooperated with the Norwegian Maritime Museum and Norwegian Radio Historical Association. Because we did use the Norwegian Maritime Museum's area at Bygdøynes we chose a more public-oriented Field Day than we've had arranged in recent years.

LA4O visits Norwegian Technical Museum

This second week in May it was Wednesday already on Tuesday. The member's meeting was moved one day forward to visit the Norwegian Technical Museum. 11 radio amateurs met in the nice weather to attend a guided tour of the museum.
