This year Oslo Group of NRRL cooperated with the Norwegian Maritime Museum and Norwegian Radio Historical Association. Because we did use the Norwegian Maritime Museum's area at Bygdøynes we chose a more public-oriented Field Day than we've had arranged in recent years.

Vasa ship

On August 10, 1628, the ship "Vasa" wrecked on her maiden voyage on her way from Stockholm harbor. The Vasa museum houses the world's only preserved ship from the 17th century, telling the history of the ship.

The Armed Forces Plane Collection at Gardermoen consists of more than 30 aircrafts and provides an excellent insight into the Norwegian military flights in war and peace. Here are Norway's first flight "Start" and irreplaceable treasures from World War II.
