Concentration camp Grini.

The main building (today Ila Prison) was originally built to become the state’s new women’s prison, but was not yet used for this purpose when the war started on April 9, 1940.

In the beginning, the building was used for internment by Norwegian prisoners of war. But from 14 June 1941 it was taken over by the German security police – GESTAPO – as concentration camp.

World Cup in Holmenkollen

In the second weekend in March it was time for festival featuring World Cup in Holmenkollen. Among the thousands of volunteers were 13 radio amateurs from Oslo Group. The radio amateurs were responsible for tracking medical resources, communication network for the jumping competition and operation of the healthcare communications center with a radio operator and a logger.

Experience with Canal Digital’s HD PVR

Canal Digital had long promised a new and better HD PVR receiver to replace the problematic decoder from French Sagem. Last year, they launched HD PVR 5720-CDX, produced by Swiss ADB. I've had this decoder for 9 months and share my experiences here.

HarbourEx15 – Norway’s Largest Civilian Exercise

In April 2015 NRRL Sambandstjenesten attended HarbourEx15. This exercise is the largest civilian exercise that is carried out in Norway.
